Why We Gather

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada carried the chanting of the Hare Krishna mahā-mantra from India to the world, founding ISKCON and asking his students to carry it further still. The Legendary Festival is our way of saying thank you — a full day to gather as one family, through kirtan, class, and prasādam, and to celebrate the life and mission of the man who gave so many of us a spiritual home.

“Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!”

— Srila Prabhupada

Every kirtan, every plate of prasādam, every conversation between old friends and new ones — it's all part of that same sankirtan spirit. Whether you've been a devotee for decades or you're curious and stepping in for the very first time, there's a place set for you here.

This year brings a special blessing: several of Srila Prabhupada's own disciples, along with senior Vaishnavas from our wider community, are being invited to join us. Their presence — in kirtan, in class, and simply in association — is a rare and precious gift, and a big part of why we hope you'll make it a point to be there.

We're finalizing a venue in the vicinity of West Chester; the exact address will be posted here and emailed to everyone who has shared their intent to attend, as soon as it's confirmed. Let us know you're coming now — no need to wait on the address.

Intent to Attend

This isn't a ticket — sharing your intent to attend simply gives us an approximate headcount, so we can arrange a hall of the right size and plan enough prasādam. It only takes a minute.
