Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.25.25
satāṁ prasaṅgān mama vīrya-saṁvido
bhavanti hṛt-karṇa-rasāyanāḥ kathāḥ
taj-joṣaṇād āśv apavarga-vartmani
śraddhā ratir bhaktir anukramiṣyati
"In the association of pure devotees, discussion of the pastimes and activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is very pleasing and satisfying to the ear and the heart. By cultivating such knowledge one gradually becomes advanced on the path of liberation, and thereafter he is freed, and his attraction becomes fixed. Then real devotion and devotional service begin."
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada carried the chanting of the Hare Krishna mahā-mantra from India to the world, founding ISKCON and asking his students to carry it further still. The Legendary Festival is our way of saying thank you — a full day to gather as one family, through kirtan, discourse, and prasādam, and to celebrate the life and mission of the man who gave so many of us a spiritual home.

Every kirtan, every plate of prasādam, every conversation between old friends and new ones — it's all part of that same sankirtan spirit. Whether you've been a devotee for decades or you're curious and stepping in for the very first time, there's a place set for you here.
This year brings a special blessing: several of Srila Prabhupada's own disciples, along with senior Vaishnavas from our wider community, are being invited to join us. Their presence — in kirtan, in discourse, and simply in association — is a rare and precious gift, and a big part of why we hope you'll make it a point to be there.
